Located at the foot of the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain and next door to Kilruddery Estate we have excellent access to some fantastic scenic trekking and also to some top quality cross country fences for more advanced riders.

Here at Brennanstown we are blessed with stunning natural surroundings right on our doorstep.

Once mounted you ride directly out of the yard and into forests and fields without ever having to cross a road. Riding takes place on our own Hollybrook Estate as well as on the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain and we also have access to over 1,000 acres in the magnificent Kilruddery Estate, ancestral home of the Earl of Meath.

Little Sugar Loaf Trek

This ride is suitable for riders of all standards even those who have never ridden a horse before. On this trek we ride through the forest of our own Hollybrook Estate passing a Granite Round Tower erected during the famine and out through the old gates of the Estate onto the Little Sugar Loaf Mountain. We follow the trail up the side of the mountain until we get to our vantage point with beautiful views over Dublin Bay to the NorthEast, the Glen of the Downs to the South and the Wicklow Mountains to the West. This trip usually takes just over an hour.

If you are planning on making a trip to Wicklow and want to try horse trekking or pony trekking then why not make a booking enquiry

Brennanstown is close to some of County Wicklow's top tourist attractions like Powerscourt House & Gardens and Glendalough.  If visiting Dublin we would highly recommend a day or two exploring all that County Wicklow has to offer.  For more information check out
